• Executive Interventions for Substance Abuse Problems- An executive intervention begins when an employer or loved one calls for a confidential consultation to discuss the specific nature of the substance abuse problem employee. During the phone call the intervention representative will arrange another call on which the executive intervention will be planned. In most cases executive interventions involve the addict's boss as well as other loved ones that have been hurt in the process. Once the intervention has occurred plans will be made for the addict to seek treatment and then return back to work.
